About Aina
Aina has trained in the Russian tradition of violin pedagogy under some of the best and most remarkable musicians in the former Soviet Union.
Aina began her violin training at the age of 6 and piano at the age of 7 in the Glier Preparatory Music School under the National Music Conservatory in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (former Soviet Union).
She completed her Masters degree in violin performance in the Tashkent National State Conservatory.
During that time she worked as a first violin player for Tashkent Television and Radio Chamber Orchestra, as well as first violin for the State Symphony Orchestra of the Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Shortly after arriving in the US, she joined the Vallejo Symphony Orchestra as a first violin player and continued from 1997 to present. In addition, she played with Napa Valley Symphony Orchestra , Modesto, Stockton, Santa Rosa and Berkeley Symphony Orchestras.
Aina Davis's studio in Benicia is an exciting and enjoyable place for continuing students, as well as new students starting to learn the violin, and inspire a lifelong love of music.
